BEAUMONT, Texas — Police in Beaumont are investigating an early Wednesday shooting that left a Beaumont man dead and another wounded.
Marcus Savoy, 24, was pronounced dead at he shooting scene in the 3200 block of Elmira on the city’s south side according to a news release from the Beaumont Police Department.
Officers were sent to the shooting at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and found two gunshot victims including Savoy the release said.
A second man was taken to a Beaumont hospital with non-life threatening injuries police said.
Police are currently looking for three “persons of interest,” including the driver of a black Dodge Magnum with large blade style rims in connection with the fatal shooting the release said.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 12:29 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to 3255 Elmira in reference to a victim of a shooting.
When Officers arrived they located two gunshot victims. One victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second victim was pronounced deceased on the scene and has been identified as Marcus Savoy (24 year old, Beaumont resident).
At this time BPD Detectives have several persons of interest that they would like to speak to in reference to the investigation.
Detectives are also looking for the driver of a black Dodge Magnum with large blade style rims.
