BEAUMONT, Texas — With the help of the Auto Theft Task Force, the Beaumont Police Department recovered three stolen trailers Sunday.
On May, 26 at around noon, BPD arrived at the 3900 block of Treadway in order to assist the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in locating one of their stolen trailers.
Officers were told that the suspected thief may be driving a Ford F250.
It didn't take long for BPD to track down the vehicle with yet another stolen trailer still in tow. This one had been reported stolen in Beaumont just hours earlier.
24-year-old Brodrick Guillory, of Beaumont, was taken out of the truck and detained, then taken to the Auto Theft Task Force for further questioning from detectives.
After these interviews, detectives were able to recover two more trailers that had recently been stolen from Orange County at two separate locations.
Guillory was arrested for Felony Theft and an outstanding Jefferson County Warrant then transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
The investigation is still ongoing.
This is a developing story. We will update with more if and when we receive more confirmed information.
