BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police conducted a vice operation involving multiple massage parlors in the city.

The massage parlors were Shambhala VIP Massage, Health Massage, Serenity Spa, A Massage, VIP Massage and Moonlight Spa.

The joint effort was focused on conducting an inspection of each business and address any administrative penalties, as well as any criminal investigation.

Each of the businesses were inspected by Beaumont Code Enforcement and a TDLR Human Trafficking Representative, after vice detectives conducted an investigation of criminal activity.

Various administrative violations were found.  There were two arrests for prostitution and evading following the investigation at VIP Massage.  There is also an ongoing prostitution investigation that was opened following the investigation at Moonlight Spa.

Detectives were able to find enough evidence and violations to revoke certificates of occupancy for Moonlight Spa and VIP Massage as well as disconnect power to A Massage, rendering all 3 locations inoperable.
