One in custody after 45-year-old man shot, killed in Beaumont's North End

The man's body was found Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Primrose Street.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police have one person in custody after a 45-year-old man was fatally shot in the North End Tuesday night. 

Joseph Andrew Frank, 45, was found shot to death when Beaumont Police officers arrived at a residence in the 2400 block of Primrose Street at about 10:30 p.m. according to police.

Mark Wayne Brantley, 27, has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. 

Police are not looking for other suspects at this time. 

Frank's body could be seen lying outside of a home near the road.

Police are investigating Frank’s death as a homicide according to Sergeant Cody Guedry.
