BEAUMONT, Texas — A Southeast Texas man and woman wanted by Beaumont Police as "persons of interest" in an early December homicide have spoken to police.

Detectives wanted to speak to Terrance Moore, 17, and Lakesha Harris, 34, about the Dec. 3, 2023\, shooting death of a 30-year-old Beaumont man.

Late Tuesday night police announced that both Moore and Harris had voluntarily spoken to detectives. Police did not say if either was being held or charged for the death of Ricky Yates Jr., 30, of Beaumont.
