Bexco, a company that sells baby cribs through companies such as Target and Amazon, have recalled a certain type of crib due to entrapment, falling and laceration hazards.
The company recalled the "DaVinci Cribs" on July 15, noting that a metal bracket that connects the mattress support to the crib can break. In the recall notice, the company said if the metal bracket breaks, a baby could find itself on an uneven sleeping surface, which could create a gap.
The company advises those who bought the crib manufactured from May 2012 through December 2012 should stop using the crib and contact Bexco for a free replacement matress support.
