Update: A candlelight vigil has been scheduled in memory of 4 year old Breonna Loftin Sunday evening. The vigil will be held at 7:30PM Sunday at the Kountze City Park. The vigil was organized by a family friend.
In addition, funeral services are also set. According to Broussard's Mortuary Services, services for Breonna will be held Tuesday morning at 10 AM.
The service will be at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. The burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
Update 5:40: Bond has been set at $2 million for 34-year-old Jason Delacerda and $1.5 million for 30-year-old Amanda Guidry.
The couple was arraigned this afternoon two days after Guidry's 4-year-old daughter, Breonna Loftin, died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Arrest affidavits say Guidry's boyfriend, Delacerda, admits to abusing the child. Guidry admits to seeing some of it happen and not reporting it.
Neighbors say they were shocked to see four-year-old Breonna brought out on a stretcherand put in an ambulance Wednesday night.
"We saw them giving her air, pumping her heart," said one neighbor, Tina Whatley.
Whatley says she saw Amanda Guidry standing on the porch as the ambulance tried to revive her 4-year-old.
The mother of four says she was shocked to learn just how severe the little girl was being abused right next door.
"That baby didn't asked to be born. She couldn't tell nobody she was being hurt. It's crazy."
Several neighbors say they saw Jason Delacerda's two children, who live with their mother, playing outside but hardly ever saw Breonna.
"I saw her a couple of times, and they were both teaching her to ride a bike without training wheels. That was the only time, and that was three months ago," said neighbor Ashley Baird.
Hardin County Sheriff Ed Cain says the abuse started two or three moths ago.
When Breonna died in the hospital, an affidavit says doctors found her body rittled with numerous burns, broken ribs, and a healed broken leg. Witnesses statements say Delacerda made the 4-year-old stand on bottle caps for punishment.
"I know that this little 4-year-old is a lot better off now if that's the way she had to live her life," said Sheriff Cain.
Guidry's father wasn't ready to talk on camera but says he last saw his granddaughter at Christmas, and she showed no signs of abuse.
He was in court Friday for the arraignment, and Sheriff's Deputies stood between him and Delacerda when Judge Steve Thomas said the mother's boyfriend was more responsible for the abuse.
"What had to happen to of made those injuries to me seems like the stuff nightmares are made of," said David Sheffield with the District Attorney's Office.
Right now, the couple is charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury. Sheffield says the charges will be increased and could even be raised to Capital Murder.
Both Guidry and Delacerda were appointed attorneys Friday. Jimmy Hamm is representing the mother, and Sonny Cribbs will represent Delacerda.
Previous story: Bond for a man accused of what the Hardin County Sheriff calls one of the worst abuse cases he has ever seen is set at $2 million. The mother of the child is also accused. Her bond is set at $1.5 million. The bond was set at a hearing held at 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Sheriff Ed Cain tells 12NewsNow.Com his office got a call about the child around 11 p.m. Wednesday after she died at the hospital. Cain says the girl had bruises and burns on her body.
Guidry is the mother of the child while Delacerda is Guidry's boyfriend.
Delacerda and Guidry face 5 to 99 years to life in prison if convicted of first-degree felony injury to a child. The district attorney's office could increase the charges to capital murder.
