BEAUMONT, Texas — The body that Beaumont Police in a wooded area near Walmart Saturday night has been identified.
Jefferson County Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Place 2 Benjamin Collins said the man in the "unattended death" near Walmart is Doyle Kendrick, 52.
Collins said an autopsy is being conducted Monday, July 8 and he expects to have preliminary results July 9.

The next of kin has been notified, Collins said. The family set up a fundraiser to cover the funeral expenses.
"We are raising money to have a great man cremated," Kimberly Kendrick Beyer wrote in the post. "Unfortunately and very suddenly you were taken away from us."
