Orange County Justice of the Peace, Derry Dunn released the cause of death of fallen West Orange Stark football quarterback, Reggie Garrett.
They determined Garrett died from a rare heart condition, called Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy, a pediatric heart disease.
The condition is genetic in most cases and shows no symptoms. The condition is extremely rare and gets progressively worse as the person gets older.
The end result is that it impairs the ability of the heart to pump blood and results in death.
Garrett died suddenly after collapsing during a game back in September of this year. His death made national headlines.
