BEAUMONT, Texas — Even though Beaumont restaurant will soon be replaced, Southeast Texans will still be able to enjoy its delicious cuisine.
The owners of New York Pizza and Pasta announced in a Sunday Facebook post they sold their location on Calder Avenue in Beaumont to Houston’s acclaimed Chef Antoine Ware. The location will soon be turned into Bocca Felice Italian restaurant.
The upcoming restaurant is set to have a grand opening on March 6, 2023.
Chef Ware will continue to operate as New York Pizza and Pasta in the interim, according to owners.
"You can follow Bocca Felice on their Facebook page Bocca Felice Italian Cuisine and Instagram @boccafelicebtx_ to keep up with all the amazing things they have in store for you at 4405 Calder in Beaumont," owners said in a Facebook post.
New York Pizza and Pasta have been a part of Beaumont since 2004. Despite the Calder closure, owners are looking forward to continuing to feed the community from their location on Neches Street.
"Anna and her team will continue to deliver outstanding food and service from our 790 Neches St. location in Downtown Beaumont, with all your favorites always available," owners said. "We want to thank all of our loyal supporters through the years and look forward to serving you in our Downtown location!"
