This isn't everything happening in Southeast Texas this weekend but it's a list of a few to get ya started.

BEAUMONT, Texas — If you're like many of us here at 12News you enjoy getting out with your friends or family and finding something to do on the weekends.

We don't claim that this list is in any way a complete representation of all the happenings in Southeast Texas this weekend but it's a list of a few to get ya started!

Friday

  • 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. - Red White and you Celebration - Bridge City Community Center
    • 105 Parkside Dr, Bridge City
    • Featuring arts & crafts vendors on Friday evening.
  • 7 p.m. - Classic Movie Night at the Jefferson Theatre
  • 7 p.m. - The Jungle Book Kids - Jackson Performing Arts Center at Beaumont United High School
    • Presented by the Jonathan Williams Center For The Performing Arts
    • Students: $10, Adults $25
    • Tickets available at the door or online

Saturday

  • 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. - Walk with a Doc - Wuthering Heights Park
    • 2604 french Rd, Beaumont
    • Join Gift of Life medical director Dr. Gwendolyn Lavalais for our inaugural Walk With A Doc
    • Free walking program led by local doctors to learn about current health topics and take steps toward better health
    • All ages and fitness levels are invited and participants can go at their own pace. 
    • Friendly, leashed pets are also welcome to attend.

  • 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. -  Bridge City Farmer's Market - 101 Parkside Dr, Bridge City
  • 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Up Close with Nature at Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center
    • 2111 W. Park, Orange
    • Wildlife curator, Robert Morgan, features one or more live animals that call Shangri La Gardens home. 
  • 2 p.m. - The Jungle Book Kids - Jackson Performing Arts Center at Beaumont United High School
    • Presented by the Jonathan Williams Center For The Performing Arts
    • Students: $10, Adults $25
    • Tickets available at the door or online
  • 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. - Jasper Independence Day Celebration - Sandy Creek Park
  • 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Red White and you Celebration - Bridge City Community Center
    • 105 Parkside Dr, Bridge City
    • Featuring arts & crafts vendors at 2 p.m. - 9 p.m.
    • Gen Adm: $10, Children 6 & under: FREE
    • National Anthem by Presley Faulkner at 6:00 p.m.
    • Presentation of Flags and Bagpipes at 6:15 p.m.
    • Announcement of Art Scholarship Winners at 6:40 p.m.
    • Paige Price Music at 7:00 p.m.
    • Chip Darby-Music at 8:00 p.m.
      FlyLight Drone Shows at 9:00 p.m.
      Bag Of Donuts at 9:30 p.m.
  • 7 p.m. - Last Band Night of the summer - The Art Studio Inc.
    • ALL AGES WELCOME!
    • Doors at 7:00, Music starts at 8:00
    • $5 minimum donation at the door
