Carnival rides await visitors to Mardi Gras Southeast Texas

Unlimited rides are available on a daily basis by purchasing a “fun pass” for $20 in advance or $25 at the carnival.

BEAUMONT, Texas — If you like carnival rides then you can get a jump on the fair by taking a ride at Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.

This year rides will be provided by Wagner’s Carnival, a family-owned carnival that has been around since the mid-1970s according to the Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas website.

Unlimited rides are available on a daily basis by purchasing a “fun pass” for $20 in advance or $25 at the carnival.

The fun pass is good for one day and can also be purchased online  in advance for $20 plus a $2.09 service fee. Online purchasers can print out a coupon that can be redeemed for a fun pass at the midway.

Wagner’s Carnival prides itself on safety and cleanliness. All of employees must wear a Wagner’s Carnival Uniform and ID badge. Employees are trained to operate the equipment and are tested repeatedly throughout the year.

Equipment is inspected daily and is watched throughout the day by the operator, supervisor and the owners. 

Wagner’s Carnival travels between the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska setting up numerous fairs and festivals.  The company is based out of Aransas Pass, Texas and has most of their dates in Texas.
