BEAUMONT, Texas — A beloved Beaumont business is shutting down its doors after nearly three years.
Lacuna Brunch and Tequila Café, formerly known as Lacuna Tequila Bar, is closing on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, according to the business's Facebook post.
The bar and restaurant, located at 4210 Calder Ave., first opened on Jan. 1, 2021. A permit for the bar was approved by Beaumont City Council in 2019.
In the post, business owners shared their "deepest gratitude" for the community's support over the years.
"Your loyalty, trust, and patronage have been a driving force behind our success," they said.
Owners want to remind Southeast Texas foodies that this was not an easy decision to make.
The business will remain open through November, with the exception of Nov. 18, 19 and Thanksgiving Day.
They ask that anyone who goes to dine in one last time be patient as "there are only a few of us left."
"Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your unwavering support. It has been an honor to serve you, and we will miss you more than words can express," owners said in the post.
