Darry Chillow has been a photographer at 12News for most of his career.
Chillow was raised in Port Arthur and is a graduate of Lincoln High School.
He began his career in broadcasting as a studio cameraman at the old KJAC in Port Arthur before moving into the newsroom there.
Since then he has worked for KBMT 12News and got back to his roots when 12News added NBC affiliation with K-JAC.
Chillow says that he enjoys coming to work pretty much every day as he says he gets paid to do something he enjoys.
He likes the feeling of accomplishment he gets knowing he's helped tell someone's story everyday.
Chillow says he has never ever dreaded coming to work in a job that has allowed him to be up close and photograph several sitting U.S. Presidents over the years.
When he's not shooting stories at 12News Chillow enjoys traveling.
