BEAUMONT, Texas — Corey Greineisen is the executive producer of Daybreak at 12News in Beaumont, Tx, specializing in general news.
Before moving to the newsroom in September 2020 he joined 12News as a member of the production team.
Greineisen was a "military-brat" who was born in Alaska and has lived in California, Portugal, North Dakota and finally Texas where he finished high school.
He then earned a bachelor of science degree in mass communication at McNeese State University in Lake Charles in 2014.
Prior to joining 12News, Greineisen was a teacher in Lake Charles teaching English, writing and communication as well as teen leadership and theater arts.
He also was worked on-air as the sports director at KBYS 88.3 in Lake Charles.
Greineisen is a big New Orleans Saints fan and also roots for the Houston Astros, McNeese Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
