TYLER COUNTY, Texas — A 50-year-old Woodville woman was killed and a Spring man was injured in a Tuesday afternoon crash near the Tyler County Airport on U.S. 190.
The woman was driving a 2004 Toyota car when she crossed over the center of the road and struck a 2009 Chevrolet pickup head-on according to a DPS news release.
Jeffrey Watson, 50, was driving the Chevrolet and was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth in Beaumont for treatment.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m.
The woman died at the scene according to the release.
