BEAUMONT, Texas — It was the first full night of high school basketball in the 409, with some big time matchups across the area. On the boys side, rivals Port Arthur Memorial and West Brook went down to the wire with the Titans taking the win by two.
In girls action, 4A State Finalist Hardin-Jefferson was too much for 3A State Finalist Woodville. The Lady Hawks pulled away for a ten point win after the HJ boys crushed Hitchcock 90-70 in Hawk Gym.
