ORANGE COUNTY — Firefighters in Orange County battled a barn fire north of Vidor Sunday evening.
Firefighters from Orange County Emergency Service District One fought the fire with assistance from firefighters from the Evadale Volunteer Fire Department.
No one was injured in the fire which also spread to a vehicle on the property as well.
The fire, which was reported at about 7 p.m., forced the closure of the 2800 block of FM 1131 while the fire was extinguished.
Several propane tanks also exploded during the fire which firefighters believe started inside a shop in the barn.
