Lumberton Police investigate after little league falls victim to concession stand break-in

The league posted several photos on it's page showing a dirty footprint on a door that had been kicked in as well as roll-up door that had the latch busted on it.

LUMBERTON — Lumberton Police are searching for those responsible for breaking in to a little league concession stand late last week.

Someone kicked in the door of the stand at the Lumberton Little League at some point between Thursday night and Saturday morning according to a post on the little league's Facebook page.

The league posted several photos on it's page showing a dirty footprint on a door that had been kicked in as well as roll-up door that had the latch busted on it.

The burglars did around $1,000 in damage according to Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lumberton Police Department at 409-755-3400 or Crime Stoppers.

"Just a reminder that we are a non-profit organization and when things like this happen to our park, it ends up taking away from the kids," the league implored on its post.
