Hardin County deputies begin rounding up accused drug trafficking suspects

The arrests are the result of a five month investigation of drug trafficking in and through Hardin County.

KOUNTZE — Hardin County deputies and officers from several other Southeast Texas agencies began rounding up some of 17 suspected drug traffickers Wednesday morning.

The arrests are the result of a five month investigation of drug trafficking in and through Hardin County, according to a news release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects are wanted on charges from possession and distribution of narcotics to forgery, property crimes and parole violations according to the release.

The following suspects were arrested Wednesday:

  • Taylor Preston Dyer, delivery of a controlled substance
  • Harley Beaver, possession of a controlled substance
  • Crystal Rae Burton, probation violation
  • Daniel Wayne Carter, probation violation
  • Jeremy Dalton Gage, delivery of a controlled substance
  • Bill Wayne Bailey, delivery of a controlled substance
  • Summer Nicole Hartt, probation violation
  • Samuel Dennis Haynes, delivery of a controlled substance
  • Kristen Grozier, probation violation

From the Hardin County Sheriff's Office...

At 7:00 a.m. this morning, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, along with multiple law enforcement agencies from Southeast Texas, began serving arrest warrants on seventeen (17) suspects for crimes ranging from possession and distribution of illegal narcotics, forgery, property crimes and parole violation.

This five-month investigation targeted suspected traffickers of illegal narcotics in and through Hardin County.

As of 12 noon today, 7 persons have been arrested on these outstanding warrants.

Two additional suspects have been arrested, one for interference and obstruction and one for a parole violation.
