BOLIVAR PENINSULA, Texas — Galveston County deputies are investigating after the body of a 45-year-old man was found on Crystal Beach early Tuesday morning.
The body of the 45-year-old man, that appeared to have washed up on the beach, was found just before 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, Captain Ray Nolen, of the Galveston County Sheriff's Office told 12News.
The man's body was found and reported to the sheriff's office by a person walking on the beach.
Deputies know who the man is but are unsure what city he is from, Nolen said.
It's too early to determine if foul play was involved, according to Nolen.
The man's name will not be released until his immediate family has been notified.
