Beaumont Police have identified the body of a man found floating in a drainage ditch as Bobby Wayne Hodge, 46, of Lumberton.
Police responded around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning to a drainage ditch off of Washington Blvd. near I-10 where a body was said to be floating.
That's when police located Hodge floating in the ditch.
Hodge's body was pulled from the water on the edge of the ditch just south of Washington Blvd just behind the parking lot at Floyd's Cajun Seafood & Texas Steakhouse.
At this time his death is still under investigation, but police say there is no sign of foul play.
